Louder Than A Bomb
Last summer, Charm City cleaned house at Brave New Voices, an international poetry slam competition, placing first in the adult and youth team poetry slams, in addition to taking home the individual grand slam championship title. While Baltimore has consistently competed at the national slam level for more than two decades, the city only recently gained the reputation as a mecca for poets. What changed?
