Telling Your Organization's Story
In many ways, MICA serves as the nucleus of Baltimore’s art scene. While the art school isn’t always perfect, it aims to offer the city and the artists within a constant affirmation of the relevance and need for the artist’s role in society. Like any organization, telling its story and the narrative of its audacious mission and vision has required intention and tangible resources to empower the broader MICA community to effectively share their communal and individual experiences. In 2017, I partnered with the MICA Strategic Communications team to create one such resource - the MICA Communications Toolkit. It is a digital, living and breathing document that includes branding guidelines, editorial style examples, branded templates, and other communication tools.
